1. What is The African Cart?

The African Cart is an online store specializing in authentic African groceries. We aim to bring the flavors of Africa directly to your doorstep, offering a wide range of food products that connect you to your culture and heritage.


2. Is this a physical store?

No, we operate online only. However, you have the option to pick up your order from a designated location in Elgin.


3. Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to Elgin, Lossiemouth, Fochabers, and Forres. We are working to expand our delivery coverage to more towns within the Moray area. If you’re outside our delivery area, feel free to contact us to discuss potential options, and we may be able to arrange delivery for you.


4. How long will my delivery take?

Elgin Deliveries:

  • Same-day delivery for all orders placed before 4:30 pm, Monday – Saturday.

Delivery locations outside of Elgin:

  • Same-day delivery for orders placed before 2:00 pm.
  • Next-day delivery for orders placed after 2:00 pm.

You can select your preferred delivery option at checkout.


5. What are the delivery charges?

Delivery charges are based on your location and the weight of your order. The final shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.


6. What if an item is out of stock?

We strive to keep all items in stock, but occasionally some products may become unavailable. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you and offer an alternative, or you may choose to receive a refund for that item.


7. What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return items within 7 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, provided the items are in their original condition.
